School Lunch and Breakfast Program: Today was the first day we served breakfast and lunch at the grab-and-go locations. There were more than 6,500 meals distributed- 3,163 breakfasts and 3,424 lunches. Our school breakfasts and lunches will continue from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. each school day.
Thank you to our county and city law enforcement agencies for setting up crossing guards at the "grab-and-go" meal locations.
Tomorrow (Wednesday) starts alternate instruction: We have asked that educators be lenient and supportive of students during these next two weeks. Please work with your teachers if any issues arise. For those who are unable to participate in digital learning, packets will be available for schools to print out for students needing a non-tech option.
Devices for students:
Computer laptops/Chromebooks will be handed out on an as-needed basis from individual schools for student use. Parents will be asked to sign a check-out form and acknowledge that they are responsible for returning the device in good working condition.
Schools began issuing devices today and will continue tomorrow for households that do not have any devices or only have a smartphone. For questions regarding borrowing an electronic device, please contact your child’s school.
If you have any trouble logging in please contact the TCSD Help Desk at 435-884-7799
or email firstname.lastname@example.org. They will respond between 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
SafeUt App: The SafeUT app will have black-out dates until March 27th. This means schools will ONLY receive messages from the SafeUt app about extreme emergencies.
