Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year at Clarke N. Johnsen Jr. High School!
This is an incredibly historic year for our community. We are officially celebrating our 20th Anniversary. For two decades, our school has been a place where students grow, learn, and succeed.
To honor this milestone, our theme this year is "20/20 Vision of a Jaguar: Looking Back - Looking Forward." Through this lens, we are looking back to celebrate the rich history and traditions of our incredible students, staff, and families. At the same time, we are looking forward to a bright future, focusing on continued student success as we prepare our Jaguars for their next steps at Deseret Peak High School and beyond into our community and the world.

Adding "Resilient" is a vital step for our school community. Junior high is a time of immense growth and change. By teaching and practicing resilience, we empower our students to bounce back from challenges, learn from mistakes, and keep moving forward with confidence.
At Clarke N. Johnsen Jr. High, we believe that every student has the potential to achieve greatness. I am thrilled to join together with our dedicated teachers, supportive parents, and amazing community as we look forward to making this 20th anniversary year our best one yet.
